Kerwin Bell overcame limited ability to make a very nice football career for himself. To see what he was up against in the genetics department, just take a look at this touchdown-celebration-turned-catastrophic-system-failure.
That’s right: Bell spikes the ball off his own nuts, and, incredibly, the mayhem is only getting started during this 1998 CFL game between Toronto and Winnipeg. It also spawned what could be the most Canadian football analysis ever, with raves about Bell’s “blazing speed” and guesses that he’s “talkin’ noise.” The horrified “ohhhh, he hit himself” shows we’re all the same deep inside, however.
Kerwin Bell threw for 101 touchdowns in his CFL career and was recently hired to be the head coach at Division II Valdosta State. He has two children.
